Hi Jason

Nice beginning. Glad to have The Omega Man. Saw it going for about $200 at Intrada. Yikes! Anyway, I have a request(s). Would you have any hard to get/rare jerry Goldsmith such as Seven Days in May, Freud, Seconds, The detective etc. Thanks.

Jason said...

Hi Steve. I am afraid that I only have Jerry Goldsmith scores that are available on other blogs. No rare JG stuff myself. You may want to check out and ask at: http://www.youdonthavetovisit.blogspot.com/

Check back soon for more rare music. Take care and glad to offer you what I have.

Hey Jason, great site! I was wondering if you had the score to John Belushi's last film; Neighbors. It was by Bill Conti and is the most damnest, hardest, soundtrack to find.
Thanks so much
Seven :)

Jason said...

Hi Seven. Sorry, I don't have the score to "Neighbors". It is however, one of my favorite childhood films and the score rules! It still isn't even out on DVD yet. If I find the score I'll share it. Take care.

Hi Consolecharlie. Yes I do plan to record the Tuesday Knight album from cassette as soon as I get my new home system set up within the next couple of months. The Phelpster from The Manchester Morgue is excited about that one and I had to just put it off for awhile as busy as I've been. I'll let you know when I get it recorded and I'll post it on my blog. Hey! One of my favorite soundtracks is Les Baxter's score for The Dunwich Horror. I originally discovered a nice quality rip of the official LP release on ScoreBaby Annex. That was one of the first Full Album Music blogs I discovered around three years ago. They're gone now, unfortunately. Anyhow, back in October, I downloaded the bootleg score on your blog. While the raw cues are cool, I sort of prefer the official LP version because the sound quality is a bit better and the cues have been edited together into suites. But the bootleg score has additional unreleased cues!

I'm such a fan of the score that I took the time to carefully listen and compare back and forth to remove the duplicate cues from the bootleg score. I ended up with the 11 tracks from the official LP (30:53) followed by 13 additional cues from the bootleg CD (15:59).

I noticed that your share for the bootleg CD wasn't available any longer. I was considering posting my compilation version on my blog Psychotic Leisure Music, with proper credit to ScoreBaby Annex and Nightchillers Rare Music of course. I wanted to make sure this was cool with you before I did it.

You can check out my blog at < http://p-l-m.blogspot.com/ >

Let me know if you're okay with this!

Kevin Sartori said...

Oh! BTW, are you interested in a link swap?

Jason said...

Hi Christopher. Download the .RAR program for free from the web, or another compression file package opener.

aha - works - sounds great - thank you so much!!!

Kevin Sartori said...

Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I just posted my soundtrack compilation for Les Baxter's The Dunwich Horror on my full album music blog, Psychotic Leisure Music:

http://p-l-m.blogspot.com/

This is the one we talked about that takes the original LP soundtrack and adds the 13 unreleased cues from the bootleg soundtrack you posted. You mentioned that you were planning to reupload that full bootleg rip. I'm not sure if you're still planning to do this, but I mentioned your plan and provided a link to your original post in my post ;-)

Jason, I do a podcast about Film Music. I need the score to meatballs to complete my latest episode. I cannot download the file from Media Fire. If you could get in touch with me, i will be willing to trade either Ghostbusters (score) Album, Stripes or John Williams' score to Heartbeeps. I have a ton of scores but Meatballs elude me. Drop me a line. My Profile here at the blogspot should have contact info for me!
